Rolling Gates
Elegant and practical rolling gates are an excellent complement to external blinds. They can be equipped with profiles with windows and ventilation openings. Due to their functionality, they are often used as industrial gates.
A garage door is an essential element of a building and serves as its business card. Therefore, it is worth taking care of its appearance, aesthetics, and functionality. Choosing the right garage door should be done with some consideration. It is also a good idea to seek professional advice from a company that will later be responsible for its installation.
Rolling gates can have profiles with windows (providing natural light to the interior) and ventilation profiles.
Rolling gates can be divided based on the type of armor used and whether the armor is rolled into an external box (similar to external blinds) or above the lintel. The weight of the gate makes it necessary to raise and lower it using an electric motor. Aluminum profiles are filled with freon-free polyurethane foam, and thanks to the appropriate painting technology, their surface is resistant to wear.
When the lintel is less than 30 cm, we recommend a different solution for rolling gates: DST, which requires a minimum of 16 cm. In DST gates, the armor does not wind onto a shaft but is moved on overhead guides.
Large-area premises and halls used in industry often require gates that do not take up a significant amount of space outside the building opening. In such cases, rolling gates are the most suitable option. The entire closing armor of these gates is wound on a drive shaft, creating a roll above the lintel. Cold-rolled sheet metal filled with polyurethane foam is most commonly used for rolling gates. In places requiring high durability, similar profiles made of thick aluminum are recommended.
Heated halls should be equipped with thermally insulated ceilings and walls. They do not fulfill their role properly when the entrance gates allow too much heat to escape. The solution to this problem is thermally insulated heroal Rolltor ISO-100 gates. In these gates, the outer surface, made of aluminum sheet metal and covered with a thick layer of colored foil, is separated from the inner, load-bearing part made of extruded aluminum by a PVC spacer. A gate constructed in this way is capable of covering an opening with an area of 50 m².
Due to the higher weights of industrial gates, a more complex mechanism is required.
